The Andalusian, also known as the Pure Spanish Horse is a horse breed from the Iberian Peninsula, where its ancestors have lived for thousands of years. The Andalusian has been recognized as an individual breed since the 15th century, and its conformation has changed very little over the centuries.
Strongly built, and compact yet elegant, Andalusians have long, thick manes and tails. Their most common coat color is gray, although they can be found in many other colors. They are known for their intelligence, sensitivity and docility.

My paintings evolve through the process of using textures, paints and Palette knife. Dividing my time between living on a mountain in Spain and by a river at the Norfolk Broads UK. This being the case, luckily I am able to paint the hot Spanish light and the cool Norfolk light respectively. Am always trying to portray an other worldly feeling in my paintings, of the spirit and light shining through the canvas, to reflect the light around and inside the painting.
