Description
Stanford Multi-Camera Array. An array of 96 internconnected video cameras fitted with telephoto lenses. Each lens is pointed a few degrees away from the centre. The device, known as the Stanford Multi-Camera Array, combines to create a video camera with very high resolution. Images recorded on the Stanford Multi-Camera Array reach up to 6,000 pixels wide. This is much higher than most consumer High Definition video cameras, which have a resolution of up to 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Each camera is able to adjust exposure independently. Photographed at Stanford University, USA.
